On Thursday we got up REALLY early to catch a train to New York with Ryan and Emily to go through a temple session. We took turns watching the kids and it worked out perfectly. The temple is so beautiful. Sitting in the quiet Celestial room and feeling the peace and serenity you would easy forget that you are in such a busy and noisy city. We even got a special tour of the temple which was really cool.

As you can tell it was a cloudy day. Sean, Ayden, Sage and myself got caught in a rain storm walking back from the Museum of Natural History. It was quite a site.

Sean and I waited outside the temple for Ryan and Emily to get back with the kids. We enjoyed a New York style hot dog.

Ryan and Emily had to rush back to make it their session. Ayden was so tired from all the excitement he was asleep by the time they made it back.
The next day was beautiful! We all took a drive out to Smith Memorial Playhouse in Philly. We had fun spending the day with Ryan, Emily and Sage.

On Saturday we drove out to Washington DC for a day of site seeing. We also had dinner with a good friend of Seans that was in town on business.

Wow! Sounds like a great weekend!! I totally have to check out the playhouse. That big slide rocks!!
What a great way to see the temple. We wanted to go, but you feel so guilty asking people to babysit your kids for all day. Your way was such much better. I wish I would have thought about it while we were there!
We love hanging out with you guys!
These are GREAT photos. Looks like you had a great time in NY and DC. We love both places too!
